Samsung Unveils Vision AI Alongside New Frame Pro Model

TCL’s QM6K Kicks Off Company’s New Precise Dimming TV Series
TCL touts the new QM6K TV employs a redesigned backlight system that reduces optical distance, or OD, between the backlight and diffuser plate, which works to eliminate the halo effect–or blooming–that may be common on LCD-type displays. The result, according to TCL, is clear, sharp edges, even between the brightest white and darkest black, with a new Color Optimization Algorithm being added to sharpen colors as well.
HDMI 2.2 Standard Ramps Up Bandwidth to 96Gbps
As part of the newly announced format, higher resolutions and refresh rates will be supported and more high-quality options will be provided. The Forum emphasizes that HDMI 2.2’s faster 96Gbps bandwidth improves demanding data-intensive, immersive and virtual applications such as AR/VR/MR, spatial reality and light field displays, as well as various commercial applications such as large scale digital signage, medical imaging and machine vision.
LG’s 2025 OLED Lineup Includes Wireless evo M5 TV
According to LG, the new evo OLED lineup uses Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2 processing, which powers deep learning algorithms that analyze and refine low-resolution and low-quality images to process these images to a higher definition. Additionally, the new displays use Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional to support HDR10 content for professional creators, allowing customization and fine-tuning of images for accurate color and detail representation in all viewing environments.
