Murideo has introduced a new addition to its award-winning STIX family of 8K testing solutions in the the MU-STIX-CTL. According to Murideo, this newest tester is aimed at large-scale HDMI environments with the platform enabling the management of up to 48 STIX-A and STIX-G devices via USB-A ports.
Each MU-STIX-CTL controller can power and communicate with 48 STIX devices, with the system scalable via RJ45 daisy-chain connectivity, supporting up to 20 controllers and 960 units. This configuration allows technicians to evaluate multiple HDMI devices simultaneously, making it particularly useful in production, quality control and testing lab settings, according to Murideo. Integrators also get access to real-time video thumbnails, HDMI signal data and remote accessibility through a web interface while working with the tool.
Aaron Doughten, Murideo’s Product Manager, emphasized the platform’s efficiency benefits.
“The ultra-compact form factor reduces the need for multiple independent test stations, conserving power while saving valuable workspace. Integrators, installers, and manufacturers will appreciate the highly intuitive setup and configuration, facilitating speedy deployment and ROI. Effortless remote management capability means teams work more efficiently and consistently deliver best solutions to customers,” he said.
The STIX system itself is designed as a flexible, scalable 8K generator and analyzer capable of performing PASS/FAIL testing on individual components across resolutions ranging from 720p to 8K. Users can test and analyze switchers, cables, and 8K content for LED display walls.
The MU-STIX-CTL testing platform is available now, with Murideo instructing interested parties to visit murideo.com/stix-pair.html for more information.
