THE rAVe Agency, has announced that it has named Amanda Beckner, CTS, as president and chief operating officer.
Beckner brings more than 20 years of strategic, operational and educational success to THE rAVe Agency. She will be instrumental in driving long-term strategy and capitalizing on operational success for THE rAVe Agency.
Beckner, former vice president of learning for AVIXA, is known for her transformation of AVIXA’s educational platform. She joined AVIXA 20 years ago, initially as a training and education developer, and played a pivotal role in revitalizing its curriculum through online modules, multiday courses, micro-credentials and a host of seminars and webinars. Beckner became a steward for AVIXA’s CTS education program that, today, serves more than 13,000 people globally.
“I actually met Mandy [Amanda Beckner] on her first day in the industry,” recalls Gary Kayye, co-founder and director of THE rAVe Agency.
“I was the chair of the InfoComm PETC at the time, and she was introduced as the person charged to help us bring back the CTS program and make it ‘the’ certification for AV professionals.
