Russound, a developer and manufacturer in home audio entertainment, has announced that the Pandora streaming service to its MBX-PRE stereo preamplifier and MBX-AMP stereo amplifier.
Pandora, a subsidiary of SiriusXM, is the largest ad-supported audio entertainment streaming service in the U.S. Pandora provides consumers a personalized music and podcast listening experience with its proprietary Music Genome Project® and Podcast Genome Project® technology.

Russound points out that Pandora’s Music Genome Project features a wide range of experts who analyze every song on Pandora across genres and decades for nearly 500 musical traits. Pandora is powered by this analysis in combination with Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down votes by the listener.
Russound boasts that its MBX-AMP is a versatile problem-solver for custom-installed home audio systems. The stereo amplifier puts out 50 watts per channel and supports popular streaming music services like Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, SiriusXM, and now Pandora. An optical digital input lets users hook up a TV, plus a Type-A USB port on the back allows access to a flash drive full of tunes.
The MBX-AMP can be part of a single-room installation, or an extensive multi-room system with additional MBX-AMPs, MBX-PRE preamplifiers, and Russound MCA-series controllers.
Russound’s MBX-PRE preamplifier has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless streaming, plus the same suite of streaming services including Apple AirPlay 2 In addition, Chromecast is built-in for additional music streaming and control with compatible devices.
