Carl Palmer – David Frangioni, author of Crash: From Appice to Peart to Van Halen, says Carl Palmer was a huge influence on his drumming style. Frangioni says as far as Palmer is concerned there are lots of great record choices that include the drum solo from “Welcome Back my Friend” from the live album “Welcome Back my Friends to the Show that Never Ends.”
