AudioControl will be celebrating 45 years of providing integrators with the latest A/V solutions at the 2023 ISE show in Barcelona, Spain.
The AudioControl booth will include 8K home theater products, a new, powerful 70-volt amplifier technology with available Dante network connectivity, and other solutions to support the CI installer.
8K Home Theater Products on Display at ISE 2023
During the show the Washington-based company will exhibit new versions of its X-Series immersive processors and receivers that feature HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3 support and the ability to accept 8K signals. These 16-channel immersive audio preamp/processors and AVRs enable home theater specialists and A/V integrators to create systems that deliver new levels of precision, power and control. The products also support the most sought-after immersive surround formats and advanced room correction to accommodate every project and enthusiast request. AudioControl boasts that all these features have been wrapped within enclosures that incorporate modern industrial designs.
Addressing two-channel applications, the Architect Model P250EQ 2-channel amplifier is engineered with an emphasis on sound quality plus key features for the custom installation channel. The amplifier is set to make its European debut at the 2023 ISE show. The P250EQ requires just 1U of rack space. The foundation of the AudioControl P250EQ is the company’s Constant Power Mode amplifier design that is said to provide clarity and balance regardless of the loudspeaker. Output power is 250-Watts per channel into 8-, 4- and 2-Ohm loads. Integrators will appreciate the amp’s array of inputs, as well as its three selectable EQ curves.
Whole-House Audio and Commercial Solutions
In addition to showing its home theater products at ISE 2023, AudioControl will display an array of residential multiroom audio and commercial audio products. Some of the products in these categories AudioControl will highlight at ISE 2023 include the Director Series amps that offer features such as 100 watts into 8 ohms, 200 watts into 4 ohms per channel into 16-channel and eight-channel models. AudioControl states that with its Director Series amps, integrators can tailor the sound based on DSP profiles of leading speaker brands as part of AudioControl’s Sound Partners Program, and then fine-tune the sound by individual zones. AudioControl Director Series amplifiers can be used as a standalone solution or as part of a complete smart home environment with drivers available for popular third-party control systems, including Crestron, Savant, RTI and Control 4.
Lastly, the company will display its CM Series amplifiers that provide 70-volt options for integrators servicing installations such as outdoor audio and commercial audio. The CM Series amps uses a Constant Power Mode architecture featuring GaN (Gallium Nitride) semiconductors—a circuit engineered by AudioControl to deliver more output power, greater efficiency, and high levels of sound quality. The CM Series amplifiers feature optional Dante digital audio networking capability (available later in 2023) along with the flexibility of both 70-volt and 4/8-Ohm (Dual-Mode) compatibility.
