HTSA Elects New President, VP and Names Board Members
Mike McMaster of Wilshire Home Entertainment has been elected president.
CHESTER SPRINGS, Pa. — Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) announces results of the election of new corporate officers.
Mike McMaster, president of Wilshire Home Entertainment of Thousand Oaks, Calif., has been elected president for 2009.
Leon Shaw of Audio Advice, Raleigh, N.C., has been elected vice president.
Rounding out the new positions is Jeffrey Anderson of Aurant who has won a board seat.
Returning board members are Jon Robbins of Hi Fi House, Philadelphia, Pa., Leon SooHoo of Paradyme, Sacramento, Calif., Chuck Abbott of Abbott’s Audio &Video, Las Vegas, Bob Gullo of Electronics Design Group, Piscataway, N.J., Brian Hudkins of Gramophone LTD., and Joe Barrett of Barretts Home Theater.
“During the last two years, HTSA focused heavily on diversifying our product mix and evolving our business models. 2009 will test our ability to adapt the most adverse market conditions we may have ever seen,” McMaster says. “Great leaders are often made during tough times. HTSA has great collection of smart business owners, who have proven ability to share best practices and work together as a group to adapt, survive, and thrive for years to come.
