The global electronics company HP is addressing the hybrid workplace and Work From Home (WFH) conferencing categories through the launch of its new HP Series 5 Pro Conferencing Monitor.
HP says that its new 49-inch display provides users with a curved, 32:9 aspect ratio solution that delivers a DQHD (5120×1440) resolution. The LCD-based panel is said to produce up to 4,000 nits of brightness, as well as the ability to produce up to 99% of the sRGB color gamut.
The HP Series 5 Pro Conferencing Monitor also offers users a Poly Studio 5 MP pop-up tiltable webcam and AI Noise Reduction with Auto Lock and Awake to help protect users’ privacy. The company emphasizes that dealers can set the display up with its HP Device Bridge 2.0 software to enable the use of two computers in tandem with a single mouse and keyboard.
Other features the HP Series 5 Pro Conferencing Monitor provides include an HDMI 2.1 input, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a total of three USB-C ports. One of the USB-C ports are rated to deliver up to 15 watts of power, while the other two are rated to deliver up to 140 watts of power, and an Alt Mode for DisplayPort 1.4.
HP adds the Energy Star certified display also provides a trio of USB-Type A ports and an Ethernet port.
