Hisense has announced the M2 Pro Laser Mini Projector, which the company describes as its smallest, lightest, and most portable 4K laser projector to date. Aimed at users seeking a compact form factor without sacrificing performance, the M2 Pro is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, with features intended to support flexible installation and usage scenarios.

The company says the unit weighs 1.06 kilograms and measures 205mm x 123.5mm x 43.5mm, making it suitable for mobile use. It features Hisense’s proprietary TriChroma triple-laser light engine, which utilizes separate red, green, and blue lasers.

According to the company, this technology enables the projector to cover 110% of the BT.2020 color space, supporting a wide and vivid color range. The projector delivers 4K UHD resolution with a maximum projection size of up to 200 inches.

Hisense has incorporated a range of AI-enhanced features into the M2 Pro to improve visual quality, including 4K upscaling, HDR upscaling, and noise reduction. In terms of setup, the projector offers automatic keystone correction, autofocus, intelligent screen alignment, and wall color adaptation, which help streamline installation and optimize image output on various surfaces.

The M2 Pro runs on Hisense’s VIDAA Smart TV OS and comes preloaded with streaming services including Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube. It supports multiple high dynamic range formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG. For audio, the projector includes a built-in 20W speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, and DTS Virtual:X.

In addition to video playback, the M2 Pro is positioned as a gaming-friendly device, with a 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution, 12ms input lag, and motion compensation technology designed to enhance fast-moving content.

Hisense states that the M2 Pro will be made available in key global markets including the United States, Germany, and Australia. Specific release dates, pricing, and local availability are expected to be announced in the coming week.
