Theory Audio Design has extended the warranty on its DLC loudspeaker controllers from three years to five years, bringing the coverage in line with the warranty offered on its loudspeakers. The change is effective immediately, according to the company.
The DLC line serves as Theory’s amplified loudspeaker controllers, providing DSP processing and amplification that is tailored to each Theory loudspeaker model. Theory loudspeaker controllers and loudspeakers, along with Pro Audio Technology loudspeakers, are developed as a unified system in which the processing, amplification, and transducers are designed to work together.
According to Theory, the longer warranty reflects confidence in the durability and reliability of its components, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards. The company positions its closed DSP ecosystem to maintain consistent performance while minimizing failures over the life of the system.
Theory notes that the five-year coverage applies across all DLC loudspeaker controller models and is intended to give integrators and end users additional assurance when deploying the products in residential, commercial, or live sound applications.
“Our commitment to our customers goes beyond the initial purchase,” said Marc Bertrand, CSO for Theory. “Offering a five-year warranty on Theory amplifiers and speakers provides our customers peace of mind that they are installing robust, long-lasting systems for any application—be it residential, commercial, or live sound.”
