Straight Wire is a no-nonsense cable manufacturer. Not too long ago the Florida-based manufacturer added to its selection of digital audio cables

The Southeast company's newest product is the SWTS Toslink cable. Straight Wire explains that its latest cable utilizes a 6-inch tapered plug body, along with internal strain relief, reinforcement fibers and a soft, flexible black jacket.

Through the use of the internal strain relief, reinforcement fibers and soft jacket, Straight Wire points out the cable is able to provide consistent, reliable performance, and large bend radiuses.

The decades-old cable company says electronics pros can bend the cable nearly 6cm to fit the Toslink cables into tight installations without damaging the cable.

Elaborating on the SWTS Toslink cable's construction, Straight Wire says because of the product's internal Kevlar fibers that protect the cable from damage, integrators can bend the cable up to nearly 90 degrees.

Straight Wire offers the SWTS cables in a choice of one, two, three, four, five, six, eight, 10, 15 and 20 meters, and it emphasizes that it backs the cables with a lifetime limited warranty.
