Whether it's a commercial setting or residential environment, there are times when dealers need to blend electronics into rooms to make them as unobtrusive as possible.
To that end, Middle Atlantic has released its Proximity Series Mounting Plate at ISE 2017. The mounting plate is designed to help dealers safely mount companion electronics behind displays to hide them from plain site.
“Every year, more devices are moving closer to the display,” says Tim Troast, vice president of product management, Middle Atlantic. “The Proximity Mounting Plate, together with our Vision Display Mounts (VDM), offers a better option for supporting these devices conveniently and reliably with the signature mounting features found in our rack solutions.”
The Proximity Series Mounting Plate incorporates most of the standard-profile mounts in the VDM series. According to Middle Atlantic, the mounting plate provides the flexibility to allow integrators to use existing mounts for applications that don't require customers to upgrade their entire mount to save clients the time and money of adapting those existing products.
The VDM Series provides dealers a choice of 17 mounts that include options such as fixed, tilt, motion, standard profile, and low profile. The VDM Series accommodates VESA mounting patterns up to 800mm, and the product line comes with safety features that keep the display securely attached to the mount after installation.
The mounts provide up to 24 inches of reach, as well as other features such as tilt adjustment, cable management, wall plate covers and integrated kickstands for the servicing of low-profile models.
