Adding to its selection of personal audio products, the new Marshall Mid active noise-canceling (ANC) headphones are the company's first set of noise-canceling headphones.
Marshall, known for its amplifiers used by everyone from Jimi Hendrix to Eddie Van Halen, entered the consumer audio market a few years ago.
More recently, Marshall Headphones has followed up its initial line of products by introducing more over-the-ear headphones, in-ear headphones, and wireless powered speakers.
The new Mid active noise-canceling headphones incorporate Bluetooth aptX technologies to provide users with high-quality wireless sound, and when used in tandem with the active noise-canceling function, music fans can experience high levels of sound quality without the tethers of connecting cables.
Marshall Mid A.N.C. Headphones Deliver Up to 20 Hours of Entertainment
Marshall states that it engineered the Mid ANC headphones to provide as many of 20 hours of active noise-canceling wireless activity, and up to 30 hours of battery life without the active noise-canceling capabilities.
The company explains that its active noise technologies employ four microphones to continuously measure and “pinpoint” ambient background noise to minimize the possibility of distraction.

Internally, the Marshall Mid active noise-canceling headphones incorporate 40mm dynamic drivers that are said to “balance clarity with the right amount of bass—perfect for those who demand the best in audio.”
Externally, Marshall designed the on-ear headband with a soft microfiber wrap, along with a brass-plated Marshall logo, and black anodized metal trim. Additionally, the headphones' 3D metal hinges are engineered to freely rotate to help users wear them without feeling fatigued after hours of usage.
The $269 headphones come with a guitar inspired travel case that features red velvet lining and a vinyl shell that collapses when not in use.
