Getting out in front of the 4K with HDR (high dynamic range) wave of momentum that is building in the consumer electronics video market, the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based high-performance manufacturer Kaleidescape has entered into a content agreement with 20th Century Fox.
Kaleidescape announced the new agreement will allow its dealers to deliver to their clientele 20th Century Fox's range of movie and television titles that includes X-Men, Die Hard, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, and TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Homeland, and the Emmy winning show Modern Family.
One of the most attractive elements of the deal according to Cheena Srinivasan, founder and CEO of Kaleidescape, is the access to the studio's highest quality content.

Danny Kaye, EVP, global research & tech strategy, Fox Innovation Lab and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, notes the deal from his company's perspective facilitates public access to the highest quality content.

In total with the addition of 20th Century Fox's titles joining content libraries from Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, NBC Universal and The Walt Disney Studios, Kaleidescape now offers more than 11,000 movies and 2,000 TV shows.
