Serving both the residential and commercial audio markets, the Napa, Calif.-based manufacturer James Loudspeaker has a long history of creating unique speaker solutions that meet a variety of needs.
Adding to its product line the West Coast company has introduced its new Omni Series Landscape Series of outdoor loudspeakers.
James says its latest line of products include the Omni48AT loudspeaker and the Omni89AT satellite/subwoofer combination, and both products are constructed with marine-grade powder-coat aluminum enclosures to ensure long-term durability.
The Omni48AT delivers a 360-degree soundstage from a single location via four coaxially mounted 3/4-inch aluminum done tweeters set above proprietary 4-inch woofers. James says the Omni48AT, “delivers a balanced and accurate musical presentation at impressive output levels.”
The speaker's 4-inch woofers feature an aluminum cone and Santoprene surround to help the speaker withstand environmental elements.
Tthe OmniAT89 is a solution that offers full frequency audio through the combination of a satellite speaker and subwoofer. The subwoofer employs an 8-inch downward firing woofer, and the company goes on to say the combination “delivers full range omnidirectional sound from an above ground solution that is also visually elegant and unobtrusive.”
The typical installations for the OmniAT89 include rocky landscape areas where traditional satellite/in-ground subwoofers aren't an option, and large, open seating areas that can benefit from the sub/sat's omnidirectional radiation pattern.
Both models are available in a choice of 15 finishes, and James supports those finishes with true custom finish options. Both models are available in 4-ohm and 70-volt versions, and systems can also be custom ordered in a bi-amplified configuration to provide more control over bass performance.
