Bond has expanded its smart control ecosystem to include outdoor heating through a new collaboration with Infratech, a leading manufacturer of outdoor electric heaters. The two companies have jointly released the Infratech Smart Wall Switch and Smart Wall Dimmer, enabling Wi-Fi-based control of outdoor heating systems via the Bond Home App, virtual assistants, or physical wall controls.
The devices are part of the Smart by Bond ecosystem, which natively connects to Bond’s growing outdoor platform. In addition to heaters, the Bond platform supports smart control for motorized pergolas, awnings, shutters, ceiling fans, and privacy or solar screens—eliminating the need for a separate bridge in many cases.
Users can power heaters on or off, adjust temperature levels, and set timers using the Bond Home App or voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Both the Smart Switch and Smart Dimmer include built-in two-hour timers to help comply with new safety and energy regulations.

For dealers and integrators, the platform also supports home automation systems through Bond’s open API. Chowmain Software has updated its Control4 driver to provide bi-directional communication with on/off control, dimming, and timer settings.

Available now through certified Infratech distributors, the Smart Switch (Part #15-1725) and Smart Dimmer (Part #15-1720) come bundled with Infratech’s Universal Control Panel. Bond and Infratech will demonstrate the technology at the 2025 CEDIA Expo, with Bond at booth #C1120 and Infratech at booth #723.
