ISE 2024 has come and gone and even for those who attended the show, it’s likely that a lot was left untended to on the showfloor. With a show as big as ISE, it’s impossible to get to every single exhibitor at the show. That’s part of the reason why we saw it fit to put together this ISE 2024 recap article in case people may have missed some of the bigger developments while at the show.

2024 TNT Winners Announced
Commercial Integrator Editor-in-Chief Dan Ferrisi presented the 2024 TNT Awards to a packed house the first day of ISE 2024, recognizing the new and outstanding products and services for both commercial and residential technology professionals at the show. ISE 2024 Smashes Attendance Record
Nearly 74,000 attendees arrived in Barcelona this year, representing a 27% in attendance from last year, a welcome sign of how much the industry has grown over the past year. These attendees came from roughly 162 countries, with Day 1 attendance clocking in at roughly 51,617 visitors, breaking yet another record by 22% according to ISE showrunners.
Neat Sights Seen on the Show Floor
ArtMorph Spices up Traditional Interior Walls
One of the cooler pieces of tech at the show was the ArtMorph display panel by CECOCECO. Originally launched in the US October 2023, this marked the product’s debut in Europe. Combining lighting and display technologies, ArtMorph is a chameleon of sorts, being able to mimic traditional wall textures like marble or wood before exploding into a dazzling display of light and color.
Stylish Lighting Vignettes by Lutron
In an effort to show off its Lutron Connect cloud-connected backend control solution, the prominent lighting control manufacturer set up several vignettes for live demonstrations that included transforming a living room into a home theater and pre-programming a room to adjust to just the right conditions for conference calls and presentations.

L-Acoustics Goes on an Audio Odyssey
One of Editor-in-Chief Arlen Schweiger’s personal highlights of ISE 2024 came from L-Acoustics on Day 2 as the company showed off its Odysound Experience, a special technique that the company uses to create custom immersive soundscapes within large residences, trialing a Sting concert as well as an ambient rainforest track to highlight the precision.
Niagara XT Speakers Revel in the Beauty of Technology
Waterfall Audio demoed its striking Niagara XT speakers with their all-glass enclosures meant to turn the guts of a loudspeaker into a design statement in it of itself. The X1, X2, and X3 versions also add a tasteful accent by including matched left/right woodwork surrounding the tweeter.
Video Walls Galore
It’s a commercial tradeshow, so you bet there are going to be some impressive digital signage solutions on display. Two highlights, however, came from Topaz with its striking CUBE LED (a potential answer to the Vegas Sphere?), and easescreen with its rotating panels coming together to create a full, albeit segmented, image.
New Product News
CI Series is Naim’s Gift to Integrators
Naim revealed a companion piece to its sister company Focal’s architectural speakers in the CI series. The appropriately named series of amplifier and whole-house audio solutions is designed with the custom installer in mind, not only allowing for advanced system calibration, but also being easily integrated into prominent smart home systems.
The company also debuted its Uniti Power Edition All-in-One Audio System as a single-zone home audio solution or a local zone solution within a six-zone whole house setup.
The E-Vision 10000i WU is a Top-to-Bottom Redesign
Digital Projection brought forward what it calls its most advanced laser projectors to date, bringing forward Source Redundancy, Brightness Sync and Auto White Balance Correction, complementing an impressive 9600 lumens and 20,0000:1 dynamic contrast, all on a Single-Chip DLP projector that eliminates the need for “many-to-one” fiber configurations.
A TNT Alumni Comes Back with Pro Goodies
Having won a TNT Award in 2023, the Rithum Switch came back this year with a Pro version designed exclusively for custom installers with PoE, connected microphone and speakers, and several new plugins for popular smart home systems, including Shelly’s lineup of smart devices.
Suprema Earns its Namesake as an Ultra-High End Powerhouse
While McIntosh Group was at the show pushing what it refers to CI-FI—or high fidelity audio solutions designed with custom integration in mind—its Sonus Faber brand was driving that point home with a knockout punch from the recently announced Suprema loudspeaker system. Hard to think of a stronger start than that.
Lenbrook Kicks off a New Generation with SubSeries
The Lenbrook Brand PSB Speakers debuted the BP8 Powered Subwoofer, marking the first in a new generation of premium subwoofers featuring nCore amplification and advanced isolation tech.
BluOS also got some nice upgrades for Control4 and RTI systems with new custom drivers that reportedly deliver improved multiroom capabilities on top of additional support for streamers such as the NAD M66, Classic-Stream and Stream-XR.
Crestron Quietly Releases 4 DM-NAX AoIP Edge Devices
Flying almost completely under the radar at the show, Crestron brought out the DM-NAX-BTIO-1, DM-NAX-2XLRI-1G, DM-NAX-AUD-IO and DM-NAX-AUD-USB AoIP Edge Devices. Announced via blog post on Crestron’s website, all devices are powered via PoE, are designed with compatibility for DM NVX, DM NAX, AES67 and Dante audio-over-IP systems and come with two form factors with wall plates and surface mounts.
JBL Synthesis’s SMA Series Bring Added Versatility to Class D Amplifiers
Harman previewed the forthcoming SMA series of Class D amps by JBL Synthesis (you can expect those in the third quarter of this year). Designed for primarily residential applications, the SMA-8300 can deliver 300W into 8 ohms while the SMA-4750 is rate for 750W into 8 ohms. Both are primarily design for resi applications as well, with a CI-focused UI and set of core features, such as balanced XLR inputs.
DoorBird Adds Touchless Wave, Fingerprint Access Systems
Leaning into plenty of modern day trends with biometrics and touchless access, DoorBird debuted two new access control systems that include the A1122 fingerprint reader—which is capable of storing up to 50 fingerprints to access the A1121 system—and the D2101TFV with touchless call button for hands free intercom access.
J + P Flips the MaxColor Line on Its Head
Just Add Power introduced the MX-QX Tiling and Warping Transmitter as well as the MC-TX3, both joining the MaxColor 4K60 Series, the former combining the company’s Tiling Transmitter and Warp Engine into one, allowing 4K60 sources to be displayed on a single screen, while also giving technicians the ability to rotate the source in real time.
PhaseTech Soundbars Made to Order
PhaseTech introduced the VLS70-LCR and VLS100-LCR as three-channel custom-fit soundbar solutions designed to be paired with TVs up to 100 inches. The VLS-70 fits the bill for TVs 60 to 70 inches in size while the VLS-100 fills the gap from 75 to 100 inches, each being made-to-order and designed to serve as right, center and left channel speakers in a complete surround system.
Wall-Smart Adds Black Nova Recessed Mount
Taking home a 2024 TNT Award for its Universal Wireless Access Point Ceiling Mount, Wall-Smart received a hefty amount of attention with its initial introduction to the European market, introducing a new recessed mounting solution for Black Nova control interfaces while at the show.
Nice Expands its Yubii Platform
Originally a part of Fibaro, the Yubii home management offering from Nice serves as the company’s mid-level control offering for European, Middle Eastern and African markets, and saw a few new additions to its portfolio at the show in the form of a doorbell and intercom.
