The Wisc.-based manufacturer Seura has introduced new options for its mirror products that includes a mirror defogger technology.
Seura states that its mirror defogger capability warms the surface of the mirror surface to eliminate the need for homeowners to wipe away a spot on their mirror or wait for the condensation to clear. Seura states the defogger clears a 15 inch by 15-inch space on the mirror, and it emphasizes that multiple defoggers are available for larger mirrors.
According to the Midwestern company, there are also upgrade options for in-mirror touch control capabilities and control options from wall switches that are combined with the mirror’s lights or stand alone switches.
The UL, CSA listed mirrors with mirror defogger capabilities are said to minimize the need for homeowners to clean their mirrors from streaks and smudges. Seura also points out the defogging mirrors also save on energy consumption by keeping the defogging power separate from the mirror lights.
