Adding to its portfolio of stereo components, the decades old audio company Marantz has introduced its CD 50n Networked CD Player.

The popular global audio equipment manufacturer points out that its latest source component complements its MODEL 50 Integrated Amplifier to offer homeowners a combination that provides users with a purist approach to home audio reproduction. Marantz explains the CD 50n Networked CD Player can be used by music lovers as a compact disc player and as a high-resolution networked audio source that offers support for a range of digital music sources.

The multipurpose source player features ESS Sabre DAC (digital-to-analog converters), along with custom-designed Marantz Musical Digital Filters. The CD 50n Network CD Player provides integrators with a choice of digital connections, as well as a choice of hardwired Ethernet or Wi-Fi network connectivity options.

Marantz also points out that its latest product offers wireless streaming connectivity via Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth. The unit also incorporates an HDMI with ARC input to enable integrators to connect their clients’ televisions to deliver an upgraded AV experience.

Marantz CD 50n Mates Perfectly with MODEL 50 Integrated Amp

Introduced to the market just recently, Marantz says that integrators can pair the CD 50n Networked CD Player with the MODEL 50 Integrated Amplifier to form a reasonably priced, high-performance audio system that balances the public’s appetite for analog sources such as vinyl and modern streaming digital content.

According to Marantz, the MODEL 50 Integrated Amplifier utilizes a Class A/B design that is highlighted by its proprietary HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) technology. Marantz stresses the integrated amplifier’s all-analog design also includes a moving magnet (MM) phono input to allow homeowners to spin their favorite records, and the company notes the MODEL 50 is rated to produce 70 watts per channel.

Circling back to the CD 50n Networked CD Player, the Martanz says the player’s USB input supports up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD 256, and integrators can even set the unit up to serve as a digital preamplifier to enable options such as volume control.

The Marantz CD 50n Networked CD Player will be available in late October 2023 for a retail price of $1,800. The Marantz MODEL 50 Integrated Amplifier is already available for a retail price of $1,800.
