In a high-end home designed by architect John Ike, iTEC Consultants, a Hi Solutions company, delivered a quality audio experience that is unobtrusive by seamlessly integrating Stealth Acoustics invisible speakers throughout the residence.
The architect, already familiar with the concept of invisible speakers, wanted to ensure the smart home technology installed throughout the property blended harmoniously with the home’s aesthetic, adding to the space without distracting from the design.
Joe McNeill of N.J.-based iTEC Consultants was also clear on the value of invisible speakers to this project and was excited to introduce the Stealth Acoustics speakers to the client.
“How often do you get the opportunity to surprise someone with a product?” says a rhetorical McNeill.
“This allows us to elevate our product design before we even talk about budgets. Wow them first, then reveal the budgets after they understand what is actually attainable in a custom AV design.”

Invisible Speakers Essential in Preserving Architectural Vision
A key part of explaining the audio system’s technologies to the client was a demo of the Stealth Acoustics LRX-83 speakers, which iTEC Consultants says left a lasting impression on the homeowner, leading to the decision to outfit the entire home with invisible speaker solutions.
To achieve the audio experience desired by the homeowner, iTEC Consultants installed Stealth Acoustics speakers throughout the property, most notably in the bar and entertaining space. iTEC Consultants says this high-ceiling space has a vibrant design and large windows designed to draw the eye to the home’s beach view.
As an area dedicated to entertaining guests, iTEC Consultants asserts the space required involving, immersive sound, which it delivered by installing six LRX-85 invisible tower speakers paired with four sets of B30g two-panel monaural invisible subwoofers. The result was a sound system that exceeded expectations, providing both power and subtlety in a visually discreet package.
LEA Professional amplification, meanwhile, powers the Stealth Acoustics speakers, ensuring the audio quality matched the sophisticated technology and design of the home.
iTEC further equipped the house with full-range LRX-83 speakers from Stealth Acoustics. This three-way, full-range invisible loudspeaker system delivers consistent, high-quality sound in every room without compromising the home’s design the dealer says.
iTEC Consultants Create “Synergy of Sound and Light” in Home Systems
In addition to the audio integration, iTEC incorporated a Lutron Homeworks whole-house lighting and shade control system, providing what the team describes as a synergy of sound and light while maintaining the home’s sophisticated design.
The property also features a Control4 automation system that provides the homeowner simple control using clean and discreet touchpanels located throughout the property. Samsung OLED TVs offer quality viewing experiences, while Nexus21 motorized TV lifts and automation systems ensure the installed televisions don’t impact the homes’ sight lines when not in use.
The result of the smart home system installation iTEC Consultant emphasizes, is a stunning design-led property that exceeds the needs of the homeowner while maintaining the vision of the architect.
“We took pride in surprising the homeowner with the exceptional performance and invisibility of the speakers,” comments McNeill. “The successful installation not only met but exceeded the expectations of both the homeowner and architect, solidifying iTEC Consultants’ reputation as a leader in high-end audio integration.”
In addition, McNeil highlights, the project also underscores the power of collaboration and innovation.
“By combining the vision of a renowned architect with the expertise of iTEC Consultants and the advanced technology of Stealth Acoustics, the team created a living space where high-performance audio is both heard and unseen, enhancing the home’s ambiance without detracting from its design,” he concludes.
