CE Pro Blog Mob to Storm CEDIA Expo
Some of the most experienced, visible, hilarious industry pros comprise CE Pro's first Blog Mob for CEDIA Expo 2012.
This photo would’ve been snapped with a Panasonic camera had it not been stolen from the Web and then Photoshopped.

Look out for some dapper dudes and chicks at CEDIA Expo 2012 donning bright green armbands and black fedoras with fluorescent flourishes.
They’re the CE Pro Blog Mob @CEDIA, established for the first time to expand our reach even beyond what we’ve always achieved at the event. The Mobsters will scour the show floor for interesting news, hidden gems, and other treats that might otherwise get overlooked.
“CE Pro editors have always had a full load at CEDIA, and it will be great to have some reinforcements in the field,” I would say in a press release. “Our team comprises some of the most accomplished, socially networked, hilarious folks in the industry, and I can’t wait to see what they dig up at the show.”
The 2012 CE Pro Blog Mobsters include:
Richard Fregosa – Proprietor of the CE design and programming firm Fregosa Design, and social networker extraordinaire (@rfregosa).
Joe Whitaker – Integrator with The SoHo Shop and one of the finest product reviewers on the CE Pro non-staff.
David Haddad – Principal of the Chicago-area high-end integration firm Vidacom, and one of the keenest minds in the business.
39Cent Stamp – Possibly the most famous and beloved of all CE pros.
Avi Rosenthal – A former integrator and longtime product guy, now with Evolve, and one of the best sources for industry scoop.

Psst...Use #cediacepro to get our attention
Fred Harding – A favored technical and sales guy at distributor Capitol Sales and CE Pro’s best unpaid freelancer.
Bjørn Jensen -- Serving the custom installation channel with commercial-grade networking systems at WhyReboot, and bringing CEDIA IP training to the world.
Petro Shimonishi – One of the most experienced product development and marketing pros in the biz, currently building D&M’s new headphone line. And, she comprises about 1/10 of the female CE population.
Along with me and fellow CE Pro editors Jason Knott, Arlen Schweiger and Bob Archer, the Blog Mob will be posting a sick amount of blogs, tweets, blurbs, reviews, videos and feature articles at CEPro.com and social networking sites before, during and after the show. These aren't kids just playing around. These are real industry professionals who know what they're talking about.
Check out a huge selection of Blog Mob photos and videos shot from Panasonic products, the official camera provider for the CE Pro Blog Mob. Other generous participants are donating goodies to this woefully underpaid crew, including URC, Monoprice and Lutron, all gift-wrapped in awesome roller bags from RTI.
Want to get their attention? Use #cediacepro, starting today. We’ll be using that hashtag for our tweet roll and checking out your tips on new products and interesting events.
At CEDIA, look for the guys and gals wearing fluorescent green and ask them where to find the best stuff at the Expo. They’ve studied the exhibit hall, they know the exhibitors, and they’re pretty in touch with all the cool stuff on display.
CE Pro’s CEDIA Web site goes live on August 15, and stays live for two months. CEPro.com turns into one giant CEDIA-fest. Catch all the greatest insights from the best reporters on the show floor.
