Covering 4,300 square feet and decked out with some of the most cutting edge sustainable technologies on the market, with kitchen appliances provided by Beko, lighting by GE Lighting, solar energy from Smartflower and systems control and power management by Savant.
The house is owned by tech and gaming entrepreneur Mike Wann, who has been instrumental in the development of Tastemade, Fullscreen, Mobcrush, Roblox and other multiverses, and his wife Tara, and is currently being created with the goal of creating one of the world’s most accessible net zero residences as a personal passion project for the family.
HomeZada becomes the tenth brand partner to be included in the home and brings a cloud-based platform dedicated to digital home management. As part of the partnership HomeZada is providing three years of its Deluxe Plan service to Wann to help him maintain his home’s carbon-neutral status.
As a home management solution, HomeZada consolidates all home documents, maintenance and repairs, remodeling projects, financial tasks and personal property inventory for insurance purposes into a centralized, paperless cloud-based library accessible through any personal device.
Recently, HomeZada also added AI weather alerts into its new chat assistant feature to help alert and prepare homeowners for potential property damage caused by inclement weather.
As part of the partnership, HomeZada co-creator John Bodrozic is also working with Wann and his team throughout the remainder of construction and first years of sustainable operation to help him maximize property values and save time, homeowner stress and impact on the environment.
“HomeZada provides the perfect digital solution for extending our commitment to 100% sustainable design and construction into the day-to-day operation of the home,” said Wann.
“It’s one thing to build a net zero home but quite another to coordinate all of the everyday activities to manage it to the maximum benefit of my multigenerational family and the planet. In addition to immediately eliminating 90% of the paper found in most homes, the HomeZada suite of apps will help us realize our net zero vision over the long run.”
“HomeZada’s mission is to give homeowners access to all of the relevant data about their largest financial asset in one place to empower them to make the best decisions possible,” said Bodrozic.
“For Mike and the growing number of homeowners who need to satisfy net zero construction requirements, the bar has been raised to sustainable home management that reduces a home’s carbon footprint and impact on the environment.”
As a Wann House Sustainable Brand Partner, HomeZada will participate with the family in a series of 2024 tours, open houses and receptions for media, influencers and VIPs covering or passionate about the sustainable and net zero living movement.
