With its data-driven solutions highlighted by its DARWIN Home Wellness Intelligence platform, Delos has been at the forefront of the residential wellness technology trend. The company continues to carve its name into the CEDIA channel, and has also gained momentum with the homebuilder and smart home real estate sector.
The latest initiative on that front from Delos is its recent announcement of a collaboration with House X, a consumer-focused Smart Home Marketplace, to provide advanced air purification at no additional cost to buyers of smart homes.
The collaboration is part of House X’s American Dream 2021 project designed to expand home ownership, which will launch in 21 pilot cities and 50,000+ participating new homes in California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and other markets, according to the company’s website.
Delos Indoor Air Quality Systems Capture Ultrafine Particles
The concentration of many pollutants indoors exceeds those outdoors, with both short- and long-term health impacts, Delos notes. The Delos powered by Healthway multiroom advanced air purification system helps remediate indoor air quality (IAQ) and pathogens, pollutant particles, expel odors and remove allergens.
In response to the pandemic, air purification systems have been considered by many to be a critical supplementary approach to reducing virus transmission rates by removing airborne pollutants and contaminants. A recent study commissioned by IAQ maker Molekule found 70% of Americans would purchase an air purifier as a gift during the 2020 holiday shopping season, and 44% of respondents already owned such a device. Meanwhile, earlier in 2020, the PureTech Alliance of reps launched to bring IAQ solutions to the custom integration channel.

Delos’ integration capabilities have helped ingratiate it with the likes of HTSA and InstallerNet, and the company says its advanced air purification system is capable of capturing ultrafine particles and can reduce particles that carry airborne bacteria and viruses.
“From more than eight years of experience and extensive research, we know that our indoor environments can play a significant role in safeguarding our health and well-being,” says Delos CEO and founder Paul Scialla.
“We are proud to collaborate with House X to make our science-backed solutions even more accessible to people across the country.”
House X Also Fostering Renewable Energy to Smart Home Purchasers
Along with the air purification, free renewable electricity (via solar, wind or hydroelectric) for 2-5 years is another incentive of the American Dream 2021 project.
Additionally, House X is partnering with other providers to provide homebuyers with access to new home inventory for quick move-in and a “smart mortgage” discounted 1% for the first 12 months of a qualifying 15- or 30-year fixed mortgage.
Available through a virtual home buying event, House X aims to expand home ownership by educating consumers on the advantages of smart, healthier, sustainable homes that are more efficient, have a lower carbon footprint and less expensive to own, operate, protect and maintain – lowering total cost of ownership, the company explains.
“Delos is the world’s leading wellness real estate platform. House X is pleased to partner with Delos to help make homes healthier by including Delos next-generation air filtration systems with every home purchase,” says Will Farrell, president of House X World.
