In a couple of years, as the millennial general continues to mature, we might just look back at 2016 and give this demographic credit for having a profound design influence on a new era of consumer electronics.
Millennials’ influence on design has been gaining momentum for the past couple of years and it shows no signs of slowing down.
Showing this influence to arguably its greatest level yet, 2016 delivered a new wave of products that facilitate the modern lifestyles of today.

This past year, an array of manufacturers delivered to market products that not only packed the latest technologies available, but also products that were reasonably priced and generally easy to use.
So this December, we look at standout products of the year, including SnapAV's OvrC Pro, Phase Tech's P3-35 amplifier, eero and Stewart Filmscreen's Phantom HALR screen.
These products caught my eye at CEDIA or impressed me during a Hands On product review. Some are even products I bought myself.
I couldn't resist taking a picture with a couple of them: Dish Network’s travel-friendly HopperGo and Sennheiser’s wireless MB 660 headphones.
The products on this list made a huge splash in the industry and continue to have an impact on CE pros and their customers as we head into 2017.
