Classé, a manufacturer of high-performance, luxury home audio products, has introduced its new Delta Pre MK II Preamplifier.
According to the company, its new preamplifier is based on its proven previous-generation model. Classé states the new Delta Pre MK II Preamplifier utilizes an upgraded digital front end that is said to deliver, “world-class” performance. Classé asserts that its latest product is compatible with a range of content, including high-resolution digital audio in a variety of formats from a choice of sources such as traditionally connected audio components and streaming media.
One of the biggest upgrades the audiophile brand incorporated into the new preamplifier is the inclusion of the HEOS whole-house audio platform. Through this whole-house audio platform, which is also used by popular home audio brands like Denon and Marantz, the Classé Delta Pre MK II Preamplifier enables users to stream content from Amazon Music, TIDAL HiFi Plus, Deezer, Pandora and other streaming services. The preamplifier also provides DLNA and Roon Ready support to enable integrators to setup home audio systems that feature content stored on NAS drives and local local drives via the component’s front-panel USB-A and rear-panel USB connections.
Classé Delta MK II Preamplifier Provides Long-Term Assurances for Music Lovers
The company says that because of the digital audio capabilities of the preamplifier, users can play their favorite WAV, AIFF, ALAC, FLAC, DSD, and MQA files, and it provides wireless connectivity with popular technologies such as Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. Expanding the capabilities of the Delta MK II Preamplifier into the realm of multimedia compatibility, Classé stresses, the unit provides an optional HDMI switch amenity to support 4K-friendly video integration to facilitate the preamp’s integration into AV systems.
Classé adds that it is also providing existing older-generation Delta PRE unit owners with an upgrade path to support step up from PRE to MK II specifications. The upgrade can be performed by the company’s certified service centers, and Classé underscores the upgrade validates its commitment to its customers.
