Venerable audio company Klipsch has added The Fives powered monitors to its Heritage Wireless series. The Fives are the first powered monitors to feature HDMI-ARC to connect directly to a TV, Klipsch says, producing high fidelity sound from dedicated right and left speakers.
Made with luxury materials such as real wood veneer and tactile switches and knobs, Klipsch’s The Fives blend the acoustics and design legacy of company founder Paul W. Klipsch with today’s latest technologies.
With custom-designed built-in amplifiers, The Fives deliver room-filling sound while eliminating the need for an audio/video receiver, Klipsch notes.
The latest Heritage Wireless speakers are versatile, easy to setup and use, and connect to virtually everything. In addition to HDMI-ARC, the Fives feature an integrated phono preamp, Bluetooth wireless technology, digital optical, analog RCA and USB inputs, plus a subwoofer output.
The Fives incorporate proprietary Klipsch Reference acoustic horn-loaded technology and tuning, with built-in dynamic bass equalization to provide powerful bass at any volume, the company says. The Fives also feature 192kHz/24-bit decoding for reproduction of high-resolution audio.
A free Klipsch Connect App allows users to receive firmware upgrades, digital quick-start guide, and much more.
The Fives come in matte black or walnut wood veneer finishes with textured woven grilles.Â
