With the widespread adoption of LED fixtures, lighting control, shades, and automation, the industry has reached the point where technical expertise is required to execute a lighting solution properly. DMF Lighting emphasizes that its modular lighting fixtures offer flexibility in design, installation, and beyond that will provide the best possible experience to clients.
Aesthetic considerations go beyond trim, shape, and finish. Placement, color, and optics have a massive impact on how integration customers interact with a space. General illumination is important to navigate an area without running into something, the company notes.
Moreover, homeowners want to ensure that the texture of cabinetry, colors in artwork, and even shadows on faces as they sit in the lounge are considered. Task spaces in the kitchen will be lit differently than in the master bedroom.
In addition, integrators have the capability to create a space that promotes emotions in line with the time of day, from vibrant, full-spectrum lighting to relaxing, comfortable illumination by utilizing Warm Dim.
Technical performance is also essential. DMF is an engineering-focused company with an emphasis on premium quality and reliability, the company notes. Its products are innovative, designed and manufactured to extreme tolerances and undergo exhaustive testing.

DMF Lighting Opens Up Fixtures Opportunities Inside & Out
DMF says it does this to open up new opportunities for integrators that appeal to homeowners and designers alike. It’s all aligning to underscore just how big the category is becoming in the channel.
“This continues to be the fastest-growing part of our organization, working with integrators,” DMF National Sales Director Mike Libman.
“We’re actually expanding our footprint at CEDIA [Expo], so we’ll have a 30 x 50-foot booth which we’re really excited about. A big portion of that is we’re going to be rolling out a bunch of new products to share with the CI space.”
That includes an expansion of its award-winning iX hardware; additions to its M Series and DID Series platform; more cylinders; and more, Libman adds.
“We’re also going to be showcasing some of our new outdoor and landscape products, which we’re excited to share with the [channel],” he says.
Every residence has lighting that will benefit from thoughtful and intentional design. DMF notes it can collaborate with custom integrators and lighting designers to create an optimal experience for homeowners by combining knowledge and expertise to implement lighting for building better homes.
