For custom integrators who might be searching for a simplified home theater solution from an audio brand with a deep heritage, HARMAN’s JBL brand has introduced its MA AV Receivers and Stage 2 Loudspeakers. The company says they were purposefully designed as a simple, turnkey system, both easy to understand and simple to install.
For starters, buying a single-branded solution engineered to operate in unity effectively eliminates the need to figure out which components to combine, the company suggests. JBL adds that setup and upgrades are equally simple.
The JBL MA AV Receivers and Stage 2 Loudspeakers are installer friendly and user friendly, the company notes.
Using the EZ Set EQ mobile app, a system can perfectly calibrated to match the space in minutes, while the Wi-Fi-enabled AVRs feature “Works with SmartThings” integration, enabling scene programming and automated routines that control other IoT devices with just one button press.
The system is compatible with a variety of audio platforms including Apple AirPlay, Google Chromecast, Bluetooth pairing, or streaming from Spotify and other services.

JBL MA AV Receivers & Stage 2 Loudspeakers Meld Performance & Style
The JBL MA AV Receivers and Stage 2 Loudspeakers feature high performance combined with stylish design meant to match today’s lifestyle. Slim, sleek, and contemporary, the new range fits with modern interiors thanks to two-color options of Latte and Espresso, JBL says. The company has made aesthetics a focal point in recent years with its Authentics speaker range as well as L52 speakers and L75ms speaker system.
Developed at the JBL Center of Acoustics Excellence in Northridge, Calif., the systems’ advanced acoustics – employing next-generation patented HDI waveguides for room-filling sound and anodized tweeters for crystal-clear highs – were designed by the same engineers who create some of the most advanced high-performance home audio systems.
The system can easily scale, upgrading from a soundbar or simple home audio system for instance, or building a high-end home theater delivering 8K HDMI video, Dolby Atmos immersive sound and DTS:X. Moreover, the performance of each model has been optimized both individually and as a system, the company adds.
“JBL is recognized as the leader in high-performance cinematic experiences, so it should come as no surprise that our new line of home cinema products punches above its weight class,” says Dave Tovissi, vice President & general manager, Luxury Audio at HARMAN International.
“Solving for modern consumer behaviors and concerns was front and center when we developed these products. We designed the systems to blend perfectly into today’s lifestyle, giving users the sound quality, and simplicity of use they always wanted from a home theater system but never found – until now.”
