Sonos has announced that its Sonos Ace now supports TV audio swap with Beam (Gen 2), Beam (Gen 1), and Ray allowing homeowners to seamlessly move the sound from their Sonos soundbar products to their headphones to seamlessly create private listening sessions. Additionally, listeners can now set up and initiate TV audio swap using both Android and iOS. Now, more Sonos customers can enjoy an immersive, personal surround sound experience for their home theater without disturbing the rest of the household the popular global audio company points out.
To access the TV audio swap update, listeners can download the latest software release for their Sonos app. Once setup, simply swap the TV audio from their soundbar to Sonos Ace by pressing the content key on the right ear cup or via the Sonos app. The company explains that spatial audio with Dolby Atmos envelops listeners in dramatically detailed sound from all directions, and dynamic head tracking keeps users centered in the action even if they need to grab a blanket or reach for the snack bowl Sonos comments. As an extra touch, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) helps users tune out the world so they can dive even deeper into their favorite content.
