Legrand’s lighting control brand, Vantage, has announced it has partnered with Josh.ai, a developer of AI-based control and automation interface solutions for the custom home.
This partnership, according to Vantage will ensure feature parity across Josh.ai’s intuitive app and natural voice control interfaces. Vantage customers will be able to adjust the brightness, color, and temperature of their lights, along with precise percentage level adjustments for opening or closing shades to manage daylight in whatever way feels easiest — via the Josh App, Josh remote, or voice commands, as well as from Vantage keypads.

In addition, the integration brings more flexibility to integrators, allowing them to use relays as Josh switches in more environmental settings. For climate automation, Josh.ai’s capabilities include selecting HVAC modes, specifying current temperatures, setting temperature setpoints, and controlling fan speed.
