Harman Luxury Audio has launched the JBL Synthesis Certified System and Certified Elite System certification programs.
The programs certify five JBL Synthesis system templates ranging from $35,500 to $180,000, mandate specified calibration services and processes, with potential expansion including dealer marketing initiatives and online assets.
The JBL Synthesis Certified System program is for less complex systems, and the JBL Synthesis Certified Elite program is for more challenging room environments and more expansive and complex system set-ups, according to the company.
“Just as JBL Synthesis technologies have advanced and systems have reached higher-performance capabilities, we’re upping the ante with our dealer-partners,” says Jim Garrett, senior director, product strategy & planning, Harman Luxury Audio.
“JBL Synthesis has tremendous momentum in the market today in large part due to the investment of time and resources of elite dealers learning how to deploy and optimize JBL Synthesis systems. These elite dealers are building impressive showrooms, serving their discerning customers with their expertise and supporting them with concierge-grade care. We want to elevate these dealers as the purveyors of JBL Synthesis Certified systems and support their continued success.”
The five certified systems range from the 5.1.2-channel System Five for small- to medium-sized media rooms, to the 11.4.10-channel count System One for large home theaters, with three systems in between.
Systems feature loudspeakers and electronics, advanced design, layout assistance and calibration support. Systems meeting the standard for certification will be provided a custom laser etched, two-space rack face plate denoting either certified system status, Harman notes.
The certification programs are one of the first initiatives to come out of the new JBL Synthesis Product Council of leading integrators and distributors in the Americas and Europe, the company notes.
Harman Luxury Audio also announced that the Adeo Group in Lavis, Italy, is the first showroom that has met the qualifications and has been certified as a JBL Synthesis Elite System.
