TP-Link is introducing the AX3000 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system, the Deco X55 Pro (3-pack), which is designed to cater to all network scenarios, eliminate weak signals and enhance connectivity.
According to the Irvine, Calif.-based networking manufacturer, the Deco X55 will enable simultaneous streaming, downloading and online gaming via dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections that leverage gigabit speeds provided by the user’s local internet service provider.
In addition, the Deco X55 Pro can deliver up to 3.0 Gbps wireless speed with Wi-Fi 6 technology, the company says, adding that a 160 MHz channel helps the Deco X55 outperform four-stream Wi-Fi 5 mesh systems by 250%, doubling bandwidth and throughput.
According to TP-Link, the Deco X55 Pro features integrated Ai-drive mesh technology that intelligently adjusts the system to tailor the Wi-Fi experience to the user’s specific home environment and network loads. With advanced algorithms and self-learning capabilities, devices switch to the most optimal network source when required to keep connections as strong as possible.
The company adds that the Deco X55 Pro includes WPA3 encryption and TP-Link HomeShield for security and content controls. In addition, TP-Link highlights quality of service and network protection features to help keep the home network secure and operational. The whole home mesh Wi-Fi system also provides detailed statistics and insights to help users better understand network performance.
The Deco X55 Pro (3-Pack) covers up to 6,500 sq. ft., the equivalent of roughly four to six rooms. It allows users to seamlessly connect over 150 devices and can eliminate weak or dead signals in challenging areas like washrooms, basements or garages, the firm says.
The company also offers step-by-step set-up guidance in the Deco App.
The Deco X55 Pro – AX3000 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System has an MSRP of $299.99 (3-pack) and is available on Amazon and TP-Link US Store.
