DMF Lighting, a manufacturer of modular LED lighting products, has recently introduced its X Series Lighting products.
The newly announced product line includes modular 2-inch downlights and 3-inch cylinders with interchangeable trims, modules and optics to help integrators meet a wide variety of their clients’ needs. DMF Lighting states that its new small-aperture products are simple to install through features like the inclusion of the company’s precision-lock collars that are said to eliminate the need to over-cut and repair drywall. The X Series Lighting products are said to fit flush once they are installed into drywall ceilings or millwork.
DMF Lighting points out that it offers its latest lighting solutions are available in fixed and adjustable (360-degree rotation and 35-degree tilt) versions, and the products pair with a universal housing that is said to offer a small footprint without sacrificing light output.
The Carson, Calif.-based company says the X Series Lighting products are rated to produce lumen output ratings that range from 750 to 1,500 lumens to make the products’ performance comparable to 3- and 4-inch downlights located in ceilings up to 10 feet. Supporting interior design functionality, the products’ die-cast aluminum knife-edge trim options are available in round and square apertures.
In addition, DMF Lighting notes that its drivers are integrated into the light-engine modules versus the lights’ housings to provide space, efficiency, reliability and serviceability, and the company emphasizes the products’ tool-less, field-interchangeable optics provide design flexibility via 15-, 25-, 40-, and 60-degrees and linear spread distributions.
Moreover, the X Series products provide a choice of color temperatures that range from 2700K to 4000K and include warm dim and tunable white with a 93+ CRI.
