Savant’s home automation system is gaining control of even more devices – with the company adding both Nest and iPort to its partner program.
Nest and iPort join Sonos, Sony, Lutron and PureLink as Savant Elite Partners. Savant says that its partner program was created to deliver innovative home automation experiences with best-in-class products and partners across the key pillars of home automation, including entertainment, lighting, climate and security.

Works with Nest
With new elite partner Nest, Savant product lines are now certified as Works with Nest. Through integration with Nest Thermostat, it’s easy for customers to ensure their home is always set to the ideal temperature.
Homeowners will also be able to use Nest’s ‘Away’ mode to activate a Savant Scene which can automatically turn everything off after they leave the house.

iPort Integration
The company’s strategic partnership with iPort aims to develop a deeper integration across all Dana Innovations brands, including Sonance and TRUFIG.
These integrations allow, for example, Savant Scenes and workflows to be activated using the buttons on the Surface Mount with Buttons dock. In addition, Savant will be adding iPort products to the Store for Savant Authorized Integrators.
“Our focus at iPort is to create products that enable the best user interface for your home,” explains Ari Supran, CEO of Dana Innovations parent company of iPort, Sonance, and TRUFIG. “While an iPad with Apps is a great user interface for the home, we believe adding buttons in your environment for direct access to critical functions makes that experience even better. We are thrilled to be partnering with Savant to do just that.”
Sonos, PureLink Move Forward
Savant’s existing partnerships with Sonos and PureLink are also expanding.
Savant and Sonos have worked toward a common goal of delivering the best music experience in connected homes.
In addition to being named by Sonos as one of a select few endorsed integration partners, Savant also recently announced an expanded Sonos integration as part of its newest software updates for the Savant and Savant Pro product lines.
With these updates, customers will be able to create and schedule scenes incorporating Sonos. Homeowners can play music through any of their Sonos speakers, use voice commands to cue up a playlist, and even combine music and lighting into a scene that can be scheduled to set the mood automatically at any moment.

The PureLink partnership features new 4K video switches created exclusively for Savant by PureLink — designed to meet the specifications most often requested Savant Integrators and making it easier for homeowners to enjoy the benefits of ultra-high definition video.
