Smart lighting and shading solution manufacturer Lutron will be showcasing at ISE 2024 its Lutron Connect solution, the backend control platform the company says delivers single-point, cloud-connected control to residential, commercial and hospitality environments.
The cloud solution is compatible with a host of systems in a variety of spaces and sectors and includes features designed to make integration seamless and secure. For example, Lutron’s proprietary LEAP protocol brings “industry leading reliability and security” to integrating third-party systems into the smart home or connected building.
Lutron’s booth #2J350 at ISE 2024 in Barcelona, Spain will feature live demonstrations showing how AV professionals can leverage the company’s lighting and blind control to create an integrated experience. This demonstration will feature a residential vignette where viewers can watch a living room transform into a home theater as the company demonstrates how lighting control integrated into home AV systems can turn any space into a full sensory experience, the company says.
ISE 2024 attendees can also learn how, when integrated into a home security system, lighting control from Lutron adds important safety features like motion-triggered paths of light in dark areas or Away Mode for increased peace of mind, Lutron says.
Another vignette will demonstrate how, in commercial spaces, integrated lighting control reduces set-up time and enhances the visual experience in video conferences and in-person presentations. Viewers can also learn how building managers can integrate Lutron lighting control into their preferred BMS or use the Lutron Dashboard to receive access to enhanced data-visibility at a glance.

Javier Segovia, Lutron’s senior sales director for UK, continental Europe and Africa, says cloud connectivity will drive innovation at the company.
“Already, the company’s award-winning systems are being continuously enhanced via cloud-powered updates,” he says. “With each new update, building managers and residents gain greater offsite control and the increased ability to make data-driven decisions. Smart, connected lighting control is a tremendously powerful tool for increasing the comfort, security, and efficiency of the spaces where we live and work.”
