CEDIA has named the Americas region and Asia Pacific region finalists for the 2019 CEDIA Home Technology Professional Awards competition. The awards recognize the very best projects CEDIA home technology professional members have completed during the last year.
“CEDIA members continue to provide exceptionally great projects that are reviewed by our esteemed technical judging panel,” says CEDIA director of member engagement Jenny Scott.
“The caliber of craftsmanship, style, and creativity on display through the competition is amazing. This year's three CEDIA Awards celebrations will be exciting experiences and feature some of the industry's most stunning work from a diverse global community of professionals.”

Asia Pacific region winners will be announced August 28 at a 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. event in conjunction with Integrate, Australia's premier annual A/V and integration trade show, which runs August 27-29 in Melbourne, Australia.

CEDIA Awards Leadership Conference Headline Sponsors
The Americas edition of the CEDIA Awards Celebration and new Leadership Conference will be supported by a formidable slate of sponsors, including headline sponsors, Crestron, DISH, and Savant.
The industry innovators join Barco, Control4, Emerald Expositions, Legrand, Lutron, Meridian, Samsung, SnapAV, Sonance, Sonos, Sony, and SurgeX as sponsors of the July 24-25 event at the historic Drake Hotel in Chicago.
“The CEDIA Awards Celebration & Leadership Conference gives honorees the full spotlight to toast their hard-earned achievements and offers a prime platform for the sponsors who will help make this night one to remember. Crestron, DISH, and Savant are some of the biggest names in the CEDIA channel and we’re grateful for their support and the terrific backing of all of our sponsors,” says CEDIA senior vice president of industry engagement Giles Sutton.
“Pairing the Awards Celebration with the debut of the Leadership Conference gives attendees an opportunity to interact with highly-engaging content that will help them grow as business leaders. The celebration and conference will also open the door for side-by-side networking and learning among integrators and manufacturers in an intimate setting.”
Savant Executive Vice President J.C. Murphy says “we value any opportunity to connect with industry partners and the CEDIA Awards Celebration & Leadership Conference is one opportunity that will allow us to deepen our relationships. We are excited to offer our support toward this new venture.”
DISH National Sales Manager Frank DeFilippis says “integrators are often at the front lines of delivering our technology to consumers, so we're pleased to have an opportunity to connect with them as a CEDIA Awards Celebration & Leadership Conference sponsor.”
Crestron Vice President, Residential John Clancy says “we're glad to play a part in honoring the best of the best in the industry and look forward to joining integrators during a unique opportunity to learn and build connections.”
The conference is crafted for executive leaders and will feature educational sessions throughout the day, leading up to the CEDIA Awards Celebration in the evening. The opening keynote presentation will be delivered by David Rendall and focus on embracing flaws — instead of fixing them — to gain a competitive advantage.
