The opportunity for custom integrators to elevate their business by engaging in lighting fixtures, and likely with designers and architects more often as a result, has never been more attainable and Proluxe by American Lighting wants to help fuel this category for the channel.
Jennifer Kirkpatrick, national sales manager – Residential Lighting at Proluxe, discussed with CE Pro about the company’s plans for CEDIA Expo (booth #3340) this week at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
Supported by American Lighting’s decades of experience developing and engineering LED lighting products, and the Proluxe designs are the result of innovation, research, and attention to detail, Kirkpatrick notes.
She’s excited to show CEDIA Expo attendee dealers, who may not be familiar with the company or are still new to the lighting fixtures category, how Proluxe products can fit into their mix.
“I think we all know that lighting has become a really big part of the integration market and American Lighting, which has been in business for the last 30 years, has always been the expert in linear lighting,” she says.
“So we find it’s a great fit for integrators because our products are low-voltage; their controlled through DMX, which can be integrated by any control company out there. Our goal is to make it easy to integrate our products into control systems, and for the last two years we’ve been very successful educating integrators on how to get into the lighting industry.”
