AiSPiRE, a WAC Lighting brand, will be strutting its lighting stuff in booth #6758 at the Indiana Convention Center during CEDIA Expo 2021, Sept. 1-3 in Indianapolis.
The fixtures and human-centric lighting (HLC) specialist will be demonstrating four Experiences of Light, a new product line called STRUT, a low-voltage DC option for integrators and much more.
“Designed with a modern aesthetic and advanced technologies that captivate industry-leading architects and designers, the STRUT system of architectural solutions is one of the only lighting, power and control systems complete with lighting elements designed for discriminating technical performance,” AiSPiRE explains.
STRUT incorporates direct and indirect illumination, wall wash, downlighting, accent lighting, and pendants utilizing connected control technologies to give clients a personalized and modular experience, according to the company.
“STRUT is built upon problem-solving lighting solutions for the most irritating and costly challenges in today’s high-end residential projects. This intuitive system is modular, adjustable, user-friendly and future-proof, developed with advancements in optics, LEDs, sensors and controls that help promote productivity, visual interest, health and wellness,” the company adds.

The modular system allows dealers to configure standard components for a customized 48V DC lighting solution. The magnetic infrastructure lets installers slide elements within the STRUT and adjust lighting effects while powered on-site.
A Vacancy Photo Sensor is two devices in one; tuned in for human detection and an ambient light sensor to adjust illumination for daylight harvesting and balanced electric lighting, AiSPiRE says.
STRUT Is Customizable, Several ‘Channels’ for Installation
Fully customizable, STRUT is easy to specify and order without special knowledge, the company adds. Architectural Channels can be suspended, surface mounted or recessed with or without covers, and can be field cut to fit on the jobsite. For high ceilings, choose Suspended Channels with low-profile aircraft cable or stem supports.
Surface Mounted Channels are ideal for lower ceilings and can be operated with a remote or surface mounted CPU. Channel covers that match the black or white finish are available to hide gaps between the lighting elements. Recessed channels mount flush with ceilings and walls, and Recessed Trimless Channels install flush with the drywall.
Direct Lighting is delivered with three lumen packages, four CCTs and a flush or regressed option for superior glare control. Indirect lighting provides high output and a diffused option for indirect reflected illumination. Stealth Wall Wash provides a discriminating wall wash performance from a sleek package that hides within the Architectural Channel. STRUT also includes Stealth Downlights that feature low-glare optics and Multi Stealth Downlights which are available in a 4-light, 8-light and 16-light and with various finishes.
The 450-lumen Stealth Silo operates as an accent and downlight concealed within the channel profile and can shape the beam from 15°-50°. The Silo cylinder spotlight is also available with fixed beams of Spot, Narrow or Flood using TIR lens technology.
AiSPiRE says the FollowMe Silo motorized LED Accent, used with the WAC app or beacon, adjusts to highlight frequently moved objects such as plants in home theaters and office lobbies, and artwork in galleries and studios, without climbing a ladder. The FollowMe Silo has 15°-40° beam spread adjustment, and 180° vertical tilt and 360° horizontal rotation. Geometric pendants include Niveous, which is designed with an etched triplex opal mouthblown glass orb, and Elementum, a luminous opal glass cylinder.
4 New Experiences of Light from AiSPiRE
AiSPiRE is introducing four new Experiences of Light, including the flagship AURORA, full visible spectrum color-tuning LEDs with color-correcting optical tech that offer human-centric recessed downlighting for integrators. Choose any color, including the crispest white light or the softest pastel light, the company says, with the ability to control saturation and hue for full color gamut control. More styles are available with HCL programming.
ATMOSPHERE is a line of Natural Tunable White Fixtures that mimics the natural sunlight with a CCT range of 2700K to 6500K.
ASTRO is Dim-to-Warm lighting that recreates the incandescent dimming curve with no required programming. ASTRO has several dim to warm options that are easy to install and use, delivering a range from a 3000K White Light – the color of halogen — to a warm 1800 Kelvin, according to the company.
Lastly, entry-level ALPINE luminaires use Static White light in color constant LED luminaires of either 2700K or 3000K and are available with low- and line-voltage wiring.
