Motorized roller shades and drapery tracks are widely embraced by integrators as a very profitable part of their business – but roller shades are only part of the overall window covering market. Wolf Drapery is a new entry to the CEDIA channel and has announced its first drapery product suite designed for custom integrators.
Draperies make up nearly one-third of requested home window coverings and integrators are leaving that money on the table, according to the Miami-based company. Wolf Drapery says its solution helps enable dealers to gain another highly profitable product category that’s as simple as snapping buttons.
The company emphasizes that Wolf Drapery can assist integrators ‘own’ your windows and expand your most profitable business category – with motorized window shades and drapes.
“Typically, the integrator only supplies the shades and motorized tracks, leaving the drapery sale to the interior designer. This is a wide-open revenue opportunity for integrators, especially those already selling motorized drapery tracks,” says Jazz Almanla, founder and president of Wolf Drapery.

The unfinished drapery fabric is first selected by the customer or in conjunction with an Interior designer. Then the fabric is made into a finished drape by outsourcing to a specialized drapery workroom. With Wolf Drapery, the customer or designer can still select the fabric, but the integrator takes over, supplying the motorized track and using Wolf as their own workroom.

“This not only adds a big-ticket, highly profitable sale to the integrator, it also ensures that they won’t bring another shade supplier or competitor onto your project,” Almanla adds.
Wolf Draperies is a second-generation family business with a support division that specializes in Control4, Savant, Crestron and Elan drapery integration, the company notes. Wolf also supplies Lutron and Somfy motorized tracks if an integrator requires. All draperies are shipped ready to install, simply by snapping them into the track.
“Draperies are easier to measure and install than a motorized shade,” explains Almanla.
“And they really complete the look of a room. Being able to offer all of these “Best of Class” products to our dealers is very satisfying. It really fits well with Integrator’s business model of providing a seamless smart home experience.”
Wolf Drapery is not exhibiting at CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver, but the company will be available for private meetings as it eyes next year’s event. Call 305-977-WOLF or contact at [email protected] to set up an appointment.
