At the upcoming Toronto Audio Fest audiophile show, the Canadian audio brand PSB Speakers will launch its next generation of Imagine Series loudspeakers.
The new product line includes the B50 bookshelf model, as well as the T54 and T65 floorstanding loudspeakers. PSB states the new Imagine Series of products incorporate crossover design and drivers from the company’s flagship Synchrony line of products, and the speakers’ industrial design, which is highlighted by chamfered edges and aluminum accents are designed to complement its PWM Series of speakers.
PSB says the speakers will be available on Nov. 7, and the new Imagine Series speakers will be offered in a choice of satin black or satin white finishes.
A Closer Look at the new PSB Imagine Series Speakers
According to the company, the new T65 floorstanding loudspeaker employs a three-way design that includes a 1-inch tweeter, along with a 5.25-inch midrange driver, and a pair of 6.5-inch woofers. The bass-reflex design loudspeaker also utilizes two slot ports and tuned woofer chambers. PSB boasts the Imagine Series speakers’ crossover networks are tuned to roll off to match the performance attributes of each driver.
The other floorstanding loudspeaker in the newly updated product line is the T54. Like the larger T65, the T54 also employs a bass-reflex, three-way design that is supported by a driver array that includes a 1-inch tweeter, as well as a 4-inch midrange driver, and dual 5.25-inch woofers. Rounding out the new Imagine Series of loudspeakers is the B50 bookshelf loudspeaker. The two-way loudspeaker features a 1-inch tweeter and a 5.25-inch woofer set in a cabinet that employs a bass-reflex design with the company’s slot bass ports.

PSB adds that it developed the new Imagine Series of loudspeakers to both sonically and aesthetically complement its PVM Series of on-wall loudspeakers. Through the combination of these product lines the company emphasizes professional integrators can create immersive audio and surround sound systems that blend into a wealth of home interior environments.

- T65 floorstanding loudspeakers are $1,999 per pair
- T54 floorstanding loudspeakers are $1,499 per pair
- B50 bookshelf loudspeakers are $699 per pair
