Pro Audio Technology (PRO), a developer of high-output loudspeakers and DSP loudspeaker controllers for private cinemas, along with the commercial and residential audio brand, Theory Audio Design (Theory), have announced a partnership with the trade consortium, Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA).
As of May 1, 2024, all 101 HTSA dealers have access to the full catalog of PRO and Theory loudspeaker and loudspeaker controller products.
“Upon evaluating options for a premium loudspeaker solutions provider, our team quickly determined that PRO and Theory were the perfect match for HTSA and our integrators,” states Jon Robbins, executive director of HTSA. “Their extensive range of performance-driven audio solutions, coupled with exceptional category training, align seamlessly with the criteria we seek in all our vendor partners. We are excited by the prospects and opportunities that PRO and Theory bring to enhance our members’ capacity to raise the level of audio performance in the distinctive projects they deliver to their clients.”
Theory’s product ecosystem offers many of the performance qualities of professional audio products including dynamics, high efficiency, and rugged durability—but with the detail and resolution of high-fidelity products. Add Theory’s intelligent full-system design approach, with automatically tailored loudspeaker DSP, and you get startling performance at a tremendous value, the company points out.
Now in its 20th year, PRO designs and manufactures a complete range of loudspeakers and DSP amplified loudspeaker controllers that address the needs of high-end residential installations. PRO products are built-to-order in the U.S. and combine dynamics, high maximum output level, and refined acoustic performance, bringing cinematic sound into the home – most commonly into upscale private screening rooms.
“PRO and Theory are premium brands. The HTSA is comprised of some of the most highly respected specialty retailers and custom integrators across North America. Therefore, solidifying a formal partnership was a no brainer,” adds Paul Hales, CEO for Pro Audio Technology and Theory Audio Design. “We expect many synergies as we work together to educate members and assist in specifying our high-performance audio solutions into even more of the finest residential installations across the country.”
