AVA, a Swiss-American manufacturer of connected home products, has announced a collaboration partnership with Josh.ai, a developer of voice control and AI for the custom home.
Through this partnership, the AVA Remote now features Josh.ai’s remote interface, as well as whole-home voice control. Dealers, integrators, and installers alike are now equipped with a powerful and modern handheld remote solution.

Powered by a quad-core, 2 GHz processor, the AVA Remote is an Android-based touchscreen remote control and AVA boasts that it is first Google Certified remote control. This certification is said to unlock the full power of the Google Play Store, enabling the download and use of native Android Apps to provide a different user experience for smart home systems and device control directly from the AVA Remote. The AVA Remote is one of the most powerful handheld Android-based devices available for the channel, now made even more powerful thanks to the native integration with Josh.ai.
