Smart home provider Savant has introduced the Ascend keypad line, featuring 2-, 4- and 5-button configurations that provide integrators with options for a premium on-wall control solution.
Ascend keypads offer fully customizable functionality within the Savant smart home ecosystem and are available in nine finishes to accommodate any décor and address today’s important aesthetic needs, according to the company.
The new keypad models join the Metropolitan, Noon and Echo styles from Savant, and provide users with easy and convenient control of myriad features. When it comes to lighting, Savant notes that includes its award-winning Daylight Mode, triggering lights throughout a home or in specific rooms in alignment with the natural circadian curve for customers seeking human-centric lighting (HCL) designs.
Each button can be custom engraved. The backlit buttons offer nine LED colors that dynamically adjust based on ambient light levels and provide feedback to the user when scenes have been activated, the company adds.
Ascend keypads can be specified for any project using Savant’s lighting design tool, and products ordered using the design tool are shipped fully assembled.
The low-voltage keypads are available now in seven anodized colors (Brushed Aluminum, Brushed Black, Brushed Brass, Brushed Bronze, Black, Space Gray and Nickel) as well as two painted finishes (Light Almond and Snow White), according to Savant.
