Adding to its product line, the Novato, Calif.-based high-performance audio manufacturer, Grimani Systems, has introduced its IS-21 Subwoofer.
According to the company, the newly announced infrasonic subwoofer fulfills the increasing market demand for more tactile and immersive bass in surround sound and immersive audio systems. Grimani Systems boasts the IS-21 Subwoofer incorporates a combination of precision engineering, the latest materials, and state-of-the-art digital signal processing (DSP) technologies, all within a 118-pound solution.
Grimani Systems‘ Anthony Grimani notes the company’s new IS-21 Subwoofer is capable of playing down a full octave below the levels of most subwoofers, and as a result, the subwoofer delivers visceral excitement to movies, music and gaming activities.
The West Coast manufacturer adds that its supports the subwoofer with mounting kit options to support on-wall, concealment behind fabric, in-room where the sub is visible, and in-wall for use as an architectural subwoofer.
Internally, the subwoofer employs a 21-inch woofer, along with DSP active amplification all within a shallow form factor to support its installation into a range of home environments. Grimani Systems provides calibration, diagnostics and 24/7 monitoring over IP to ensure that its systems, including the IS-21 Subwoofers deliver the service that luxury homeowners expect.
In addition, the subwoofer is rated to play down to 15Hz.
