Designed for use indoors or outdoors, the newly announced TRULUX Series Spec Ultra Tape Light can be used for linear lighting applications.
American Lighting states that professional integrators can utilize its latest product through its, “one LED, one cut” design that allows for precision-cut increments that facilitate a quick installation.
According to the Denver-based company, the TRULUX Series Spec Ultra Tape Light provides a light output rating from 550 to 650 lumens per square foot, and a 90-plus color rendering index (CRI). The Spec Ultra Tape Light is offered in a choice of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K versions.
American Lighting also emphasizes that its newest lighting product provides a range of illumination options such as adjustability from 5% to 100% when used with most ELV and TRIAC dimmers.
The company points out the Spec Ultra Tape Light carries an IP54 rating that features a nano-coating that protects it from dust, dirt and moisture. Additionally, the lighting product also carries a cULus Listed rating to support its use in indoor dry/damp locations.
American Lighting recommends using 3M VHB adhesive backing tape to install the product.
Moreover, the Ultra Tape Light comes in 13.1-foot runs and integrators can cut the lighting product in .33-inch increments. The lighting has a 30,000 hour life expectancy, and American Lighting backs the product with a 5-year warranty.
