Helping integrators to meet a growing range of surround sound and immersive audio applications, Acurus has announced its new M4 four-channel amplifier.
Acurus—an Indy Audio Labs brand—says that its new amplifier is a Class-D based solution that is rated to produce 200 watts per channel. The company says that 2U-high amplifier is engineered to deliver high levels of tonal accuracy with low distortion, and to help professional integrators, the M4 four-channel amplifier incorporates amenities such as 12-volt triggers, IR, RS-232 and Ethernet control options.
According to the Midwest manufacturer, the new amplifier complements its M8 multichannel amplifier, which is an eight-channel, 200-watt per channel amplifier that can be used in tandem with the M4 to power as many as 12 channels of amplification for immersive audio system installations.
