Integrators based in the Northwest are clearing their schedules for the upcoming Pacific Northwest Consumer Electronics Expo (PNWCEE) on May 17. While the name of the event doesn’t exactly roll easily off the tongue, it promises to provide vital training and exhibits for integrators.
In its fourth year, the PNWCEE is being held at the SeaTac Doubletree Inn by Hilton and will feature 155 exhibitors and 38 training sessions. The event will also include a special luncheon panel discussion moderated by CE Pro’s Jason Knott discussing immersive audio technology, in particular Dolby Atmos. Panelists include Craig Eggers, senior director of home theater for Dolby Labs; Matt Schuler of Klipsch; Keith Haas of Integra; Rob Sample of Anthem and Paradigm; and Brandon Cook of Audiocontrol.
Also a first for the event, CEDIA will be putting on three one-hour courses presented by CE Pro 2015 Master Michael Heiss, including: “Everything you wanted to know about 4K but were afraid to ask” and a “New Technology Briefing.” There will also be a roundtable discussion moderated by CEDIA about 4K and emerging technologies.
The event also will feature various car audio vendors and training sessions, including MECP (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) training.
Participating reps include Falcon Sales and Marketing, Advanced Marketing, Big Bear Marketing, Northmar Inc., N&S Marketing and Sales, Marketshare, Oliver Marketing, Phase, Pacific Rim NW Marketing and Ambassador Marketing.
Participating distributors include AVAD, EDI and Custom Plus Distributing.
