Ihiji, provider of remote systems management (RSM) solutions for home technology integrators, is merging two of its core services – Invision and Service Manager – into a single platform called ProVue that will launch at CEDIA 2017.
Invision, the flagship RSM platform Ihiji launched eight years ago, allows home-technology integrators to remotely monitor and manage connected devices in their clients’ premises. The software enables auto-discovery, device identification, system setup and deep insights utilizing Ihiji’s library of device data.
Service Manager is a newer back-office software suite that helps integrators manage and monetize their service business.
ProVue, with its “total redesign of Ihiji’s traditional RSM solutions,” features two brand new services:
- ProVue Mobile, a new app for field technicians to help them configure and discover devices while on-site, and manage all power reboots while on-the-go.
- HomeVue, a consumer-facing app for self-service and support that allows customers to get a snapshot of system health and perform self-help reboots.
Ihiji co-founder Michael Maniscalco says the company has focused on “improving usability” for the dealer in providing remote systems management.
In the bigger picture, though, the goal of ProVue is to “incorporate additional self-service and value add features for clients,” he says.
