“As always, we remain fully invested in integrating the latest and greatest technology into our products for everyday consumers, enthusiasts, and installers,” says Richard Velazquez, global head of brand management, Denon.
“The X-Series and S-Series refresh demonstrate our commitment to remain lockstep with the evolution of the smart-home theater. Amazon's Alexa Smart Home Skill for whole-home audio voice control enables effortless use, an industry leading setup process reduces out-of-box headaches and all the latest tech reduces near-term obsolescence.”
X-Series & S-Series Support 4K UltraHD
Offering 7.2 channels, the AVR-X2500H and AVR-X1500H receivers provide Alexa control and Denon's proprietary wireless whole-house audio technology HEOS.
With the combination of HEOS and Alexa, homeowners can issue voice commands anywhere in their home and control a variety of functions including power on/off, volume up/down, mute/unmute, music play and pause, and internal input switching.
Denon also provides vinyl lovers with a built-in phono preamp in its AVR-X2500H and AVR-X1500H models.
On the video side, the receivers support 4K UltraHD 60Hz, high dynamic range (HDR), Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), as well as 4:4:4 Pure Color chroma subsampling and BT.2020.
Via the AVR-X2500H and AVR-X1500's ihiji Invision and Domotz Pro remote management capabilities, the receivers are integrator-friendly.
Other options include the Denon AVR Remote app, Audyssey MultEQ XT equalization, and external and IP control.
