MagnaTrack Enhances, Extends and Protects Outdoor Living Areas

The patented technology in MagnaTrack uses opposite pole magnets to allow the inner track to free float and self-adjust, enabling outdoor wellness spaces.

Among the biggest trends influenced by the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the increased focus on outdoor entertainment. Homeowners stuck inside their homes are increasingly looking to extend their living area outside to relieve the confinement. Moreover, consumers had few qualms about allowing integrators to work in their backyards during the pandemic. The MagnaTrack motorized screens by Progressive Screens offer a solution to extend the outdoor living area that is customizable to fit clients’ needs and applications.

“With today’s environmental conditions more people are staying at home and their outdoor space is more important than ever,” says Arthur James, founder and CEO of Progressive Screens.

Among the common wellness features provided by MagnaTrack screens are bug protection, privacy, solar/solar protection, along with weather and hurricane protection.

“MagnaTrack can create a year-round enclosed area, play area for the kids, or outdoor living area depending on the configuration. At the push of a button, or operated through most leading smart home systems, will allow the flexibility to deploy the screen system when needed and retract when not, all while maintaining the aesthetics of the home,” says James.

“The patented technology in our innovative MagnaTrack system uses opposite pole magnets allow the inner track to free float and self-adjust. This eliminates 98% or more of common service issues inherent in competitive zipper screens,” he adds.

James says the extended living area also allows for integrators to sell additional products like outdoor TVs, sound systems, lighting, etc., that will increase integrators’ sales and complete the 365/24/7 at-home experience.

“MagnaTrack can be configured for residential, commercial, and/or hurricane protection with great margins and easy installation. Whether the application is for new construction or existing/retrofit, Progressive Screens can customize the screen system to fit your clients’ needs for any application or climate conditions,” he says.
